Hi, I'm Orsi


At On the Mat Studio, we offer small group classes of Yoga, Pilates, and Fitness. We offer classes suitable for different levels and objectives.

I’m Orsi owner and founder of On the Mat Studio, Pilates and Yoga Instructor, Personal Trainer.  I am also a creator of online programs on Udemy about Pilates, Yoga, and fitness. Since my childhood, I've always been passionate about movements, with horse riding and dancing. My professional life as an instructor started around 2009.

My Studies

Over the last years, I performed an extensive number of certification courses that allowed me to create a strong polyvalent profile in different disciplines:

  • 500 hours Yoga Teacher, I performed one Yoga 200 hours TTC with Mukesh Kothari at Bindusar Yoga in Budapest Hungary, and a second 300 hours TTC at Sampoorna  Yoga in Goa, India

  • Stott Pilates Instructor, I achieved different certifications Stott such as Mat-work and Reformer at Brussels Pilates in Brussels, Belgium; Cadillac and Chair at Pilates Plus in Budapest, Hungary; and Barrels at John Garey in Los Angeles, USA

  • bodyART® Instructor, I certified myself in different topics in bodyART® such as Deep Work, Basic, Dynamics and Stretch, at bodyART Hungary School with Rita Lencses and Balazs Borsodi

  • Personal Trainer with both ISSA and NASM certifications


My Objective

Regardless my certifications, I ensure that my knowledge is always updated so that I can work with specific kind of clientele profile: people with injuries, pregnant woman, athletes or people with a sedentary life. My objective is to help people to choose the exercises and routines adequately by respecting the person needs.

My work

Since 2009 I have been working in different gyms across Brussels, specially at the Aspria Clubs. I work both as a Collective Class Teacher and Private Instructor.

Today, I offer mainly Collective Classes in Vinyasa Yoga and Pilates. As for my Private Sessions I usually select a combination of routines to ensure that the training is tailored specific to the each person. I can work from a classical Pilates repertoire, which moves more towards a therapeutic direction; up to a more Fitness Minded session using TRX and small weights for body tonification.
